Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Sunny spells, the odd shower too mainly Auckland southwards. Breezy westerly winds.
Highs: 19-21

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Mostly cloudy, a few showers mainly in the afternoon then clearing away in the evening. West to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 16-17

Eastern North Island

Mostly sunny, cloud builds a little after midday and there is the risk of an isolated shower late afternoon / evening. West to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 20-22

Wellington

Mostly sunny with northwesterly winds.
High: 17

Marlborough & Nelson

Mostly sunny with a touch of high cloud at times, light winds tend north to northwest in the afternoon.
Highs: 18-22

Canterbury

Any morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, northeasterly winds near the coast with light winds inland. Low risk of a late afternoon / evening shower otherwise mainly dry.
High: 18

West Coast

Cloudy with the odd shower throughout the day, north to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 14-15

Southland & Otago

Sunny spells, chance of an early shower then again late afternoon / evening. North to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 16-21
