Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Sunny areas with light west to southwesterly winds, risk of a light shower mainly in the west. Some fog can’t be counted out around Auckland and the Waikato first thing this morning.
Highs: 15-16
 
Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Cloudy areas with the low risk of a light shower or two about otherwise mainly dry, west to northwesterly breezes.
Highs: 13-15
 
Eastern North Island
Sunny with light winds, tending northwest. 
Highs: 17-18
 
Wellington
Sunny areas with cloud increasing later in the day, breezy northwesterly winds.
High: 15
 
Marlborough & Nelson
Mostly sunny with some high cloud later in the day, northwesterly winds pick up from afternoon.
High: 16-17
 
Canterbury
Sunny areas and some high cloud. Northwest breezes, perhaps a little gusty at times inland from afternoon. Overnight winds change southwest with the chance of a shower.
High: 17
 
West Coast
Cloudy with showers for South Westland, the odd spit further north. Showers about South Westland turning to rain late afternoon then pushing northwards during the evening. Rain will be heavy at times. Northwesterly winds.
Highs: 12-14
 
Southland & Otago
Plenty of high cloud, rain moves into Southland late afternoon as northwesterly winds change southwest. Rain moving into Otago during the evening, easing overnight for all.
Highs: 13-16
