Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Sunny areas, mostly sunny for the Waikato and Bay Of Plenty. Northland and perhaps Auckland may see a shower or two from afternoon mainly out west otherwise dry conditions prevail. West to Southwesterly winds a little breezy at times.
Highs: 22-24

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Mostly sunny with some high cloud, south to southwesterly winds.
Highs: 21-22

Eastern North Island

Sunny areas with southerly breezes, chance of a shower or two mainly about Gisborne in the morning.
Highs: 20-21

Wellington

A mostly sunny morning, cloud a little more frequent from afternoon. Southerly winds.
High: 17

Marlborough & Nelson

Becoming mostly cloudy in the morning, chance of a shower or two , especially about Nelson in the afternoon otherwise dry. Southeasterly winds for Marlborough, afternoon northerlies for Nelson.
Highs: 19-20

Canterbury

Cloudy skies, chance of a light shower or two especially this morning otherwise dry. Southerly winds.
High: 16

West Coast

Cloudy areas and some sun, chance of a light morning shower or two then clearing. During the afternoon an isolated shower or two may develop about the ranges especially Buller. Light winds.
Highs: 19-23

Southland & Otago

Light southwesterly winds, a mix of sunny areas and some mid / high level cloud.
Highs: 15-23
