Mostly sunny with West to Sou’West breezes, picking up a little in the afternoon. Cloud may be a little more prominent about Auckland and Northland from afternoon with the low risk of a shower or two drifting in from the west for the rest of the day.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Sunny areas with westerly quarter winds, chance of a shower or two about Taranaki during the day.

Eastern North Island

Mostly sunny with light winds in the morning, afternoon east to northeasterly winds.

Wellington

Morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, North to Nor’West winds.
High: 15

Marlborough & Nelson

Mainly sunny, light winds in the morning about Marlborough then afternoon east to northeasterly winds. About Nelson winds may blow in from the west or southwest for much of the day.
