Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Mostly cloudy with a few patchy showers, mainly afternoon. Light northerly quarter winds. Northland sees the chance of a morning shower or two then sunny spells with westerly winds.
Highs: 23-24

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Cloudy periods with westerly quarter winds, a few patchy light showers mainly afternoon. Rain moves in overnight especially about Taranaki.
Highs: 21-24

Eastern North Island

Mostly sunny with some high cloud. A few isolated showers late afternoon /
evening mainly about the ranges over Wairarapa and perhaps Hawkes Bay. Light
winds.
Highs: 24-25

Wellington

Sunny areas and some cloud with increasing northerly winds, cloud thickens
in the evening then some rain moves through overnight.
Highs: 19-20

Marlborough & Nelson

Mostly sunny with northwesterly breezes, picking up a little in the
afternoon. Overnight some rain moves in.
Highs: 21-25

Canterbury

Mostly sunny with northeasterly winds, in the afternoon some cloud builds
about bringing a few isolated showers some of which may become heavy then
clearing later on in the evening. Showers more likely the further south you
travel into Canterbuey.
Highs: 20-23

West Coast

Mostly cloudy with spells of rain, heavy at times with possible
thunderstorms more so about South Westland. Northeasterly winds.
Highs: 19-20

Southland & Otago

Mostly cloudy skies, a few spits possible in the morning then rain moving
in during the afternoon heavy at times with possible thunderstorms. Light winds
for most and northeasterlies on the Otago coast.
High: 19-20
