evening southwest change brings the chance of a shower.

Western North Island

Mostly cloudy with westerly winds, chance of a brief shower about mainly
morning otherwise dry.

Wellington

Mostly cloudy with breezy north to northwesterly winds.
High: 20

Marlborough & Nelson

Areas of high cloud with north to northwesterly breezes, high cloud
gradually clears away during the afternoon as winds ease.

Sunny areas and some cloud, light winds tend southerly towards
midday.

West Coast

Morning cloud with a few showers possible mainly about South Westland,
afternoon sunny areas as westerlies tend more southwest.
