Auckland & Northland
Mostly cloudy with afternoon sea breezes, chance of an isolated afternoon shower.
Highs: 25-26

Waikato, Central North Island & Bay Of Plenty

Mostly cloudy with light winds, a few isolated showers in the afternoon for inland areas then clearing in the evening.

Highs: 24-27

Eastern North Island

Mostly sunny with some high cloud increasing from morning, light winds. An
evening southwest change brings the chance of a shower.

Highs: 26-27

Western North Island

Mostly cloudy with westerly winds, chance of a brief shower about mainly
morning otherwise dry.

Highs: 22-24

Wellington

Mostly cloudy with breezy north to northwesterly winds.

High: 20

Marlborough & Nelson

Areas of high cloud with north to northwesterly breezes, high cloud
gradually clears away during the afternoon as winds ease.

Highs: 23-26

Canterbury

Sunny areas and some cloud, light winds tend southerly towards
midday.

High: 24

West Coast

Morning cloud with a few showers possible mainly about South Westland,
afternoon sunny areas as westerlies tend more southwest.

Highs: 20-21

Coastal Otago

Cloudy periods and a few sunny areas, light winds pick up from the
southwest in the afternoon.

High: 21

Central Otago

Morning cloud breaks to sunny areas, light northwesterlies tend southwest
in the afternoon. Chance of a shower late afternoon / evening.

Highs: 22-23

Southland

Morning high cloud with northwesterly winds, an afternoon southwest change
brings a few showers which clear evening.

High: 20
