Northland

Periods of cloud and the odd sunny spell, south to southwesterly winds for
much of the day, slowly fading afternoon and evening. There may be a brief
remaining shower in the morning.

Periods of cloud and sunny spells, southwesterly winds fading in the
evening.

Highs: 23-24

Bay Of Plenty

Sunny with light winds in the morning tending light northerly
afternoon.

Highs: 23-24

Waikato & Central North Island

Sunny with light morning southerlies then gentle afternoon west to
southwest winds.

Highs: 23-24

Eastern North Island

Mostly sunny weather with any morning showers about coastal Wairarapa and
the likes of Mahia Peninsula clearing, cool southwesterly breezes die away in
the evening.

Highs: 23

Taranaki

Sunny with morning southeasterlies then afternoon westerly winds.

Highs: 21-22

Western North Island

Any early morning cloud clears to a sunny day, morning southwesterlies tend
light west to northwest by midday.

High: 21

Wellington

Morning cloud with the chance of a shower, brisk southerly winds ease dying
out around midday. Sunny in the afternoon with winds tending northerly.

Highs: 19-20

Nelson

Sunny with light winds in the morning, afternoon northeasterlies.

Highs: 22-23

Marlborough

Sunny with light winds in the morning, afternoon northeasterlies near the
coast.

High: 24

Canterbury

Morning cloud with any early showers about Banks Peninsula clearing,
becoming sunny by mid to late morning. Southwesterlies early on then expect
light winds tending east to northeast near the coast for the afternoon.

West Coast

Mostly sunny with light winds in the morning, west to southwest winds pick
up a little in the afternoon. Evening cloud.

Coastal Otago

Morning cloud breaks to a mostly sunny afternoon, breezy southwesterly
winds ease later in the evening.

Sunny with light winds.

Highs: 24-26

Southland

Morning cloud with the chance of a shower, becoming mostly sunny in the
afternoon. Gusty westerlies ease later in the day.
