Northland
Mostly cloudy, showers move in late morning or around midday. Becoming
persistent late afternoon and evening for a time before easing. Northerly winds tend northwest later.
Highs: 23-24

Auckland

Mostly cloudy with northerly winds, showers from afternoon possibly heavy.

High: 23

Bay Of Plenty

Cloudy, showers develop in the afternoon then late rain. Northerly
winds.

High: 22

Waikato

Cloudy, afternoon rain sets in possibly heavy. Northerlies.

High: 24

Central North Island

Sunny areas and thickening high cloud in the morning, spells of rain
develop in the afternoon possibly heavy by evening. Northerly winds.

High: 25

Eastern North Island

Sunny areas and increasing high cloud, the odd spot of evening rain
possible. Light winds tend northwest in the evening.

Highs: 26-28

Western North Island

Morning sunny areas then a few showers develop in the afternoon,
northwesterly winds. Taranaki sees the odd shower from afternoon then evening
rain possibly heavy.

Highs: 22-26

Wellington

Mostly cloudy with brisk northwesterlies, some late afternoon / evening
rain.

High: 19

Nelson

Cloudy with northerly winds, the odd shower from afternoon then a spell of
rain later in the evening before easing and clearing overnight.

Highs: 22-23

Marlborough

Sunny areas and some high cloud, high cloud thickens in the evening then
later in the evening or overnight a few spots of rain develop. Northwesterly
winds.

High: 26

Canterbury

Sunny areas and some high cloud, north to northwesterly winds. Chance spot
of evening rain.

High: 27

West Coast

Cloudy with periods of rain, breezy north to northeasterly winds.

Highs: 19-20

Coastal Otago

Plenty of high cloud with northeasterly winds, late spots of rain
possible.

High: 21

Central Otago

Plenty of high cloud, areas of rain in the west with north to northwesterly
winds. In the evening a few spells of rain may move into other areas for a
time.

Highs: 21-25

Southland

Mostly cloudy with spells of rain at times, dry periods too. Light
northeasterlies.

High: 21
