A ridge covers New Zealand today bringing mainly settled weather, many places will see some but western parts of the North Island may see cloudy areas.

Auckland & Northland
Sunny areas and some cloud, light winds tend northwesterly.
Highs: 19-21

Bay Of Plenty

Mostly sunny with a few clouds about the place, light winds in the morning tend northeast in the afternoon.
High: 19

Waikato & Central North Island

Periods of cloud and a few sunny spells, light northwesterlies. Chance of
an evening drizzle patch about the Waikato.
Highs: 17-19

Eastern North Island

Any early cloud clears to a sunny day, light winds tend northeast in the
afternoon.
Highs: 19-21

Western North Island

Sunny spells and periods of cloud, light northwesterlies tend westerly in
the afternoon. About northern Taranaki expect cloudy periods with northerly
winds, the odd light shower or drizzle patch possible at times.
Highs: 18-19

Wellington

Morning cloud breaks to sunny spells, breezy northerlies ease in the
afternoon.
Highs: 17-18

Nelson

Early cloud clears to a sunny day, light northerlies.
Highs: 18-19

Marlborough

Sunny with light west to northwest winds.
