Our latest poll results are in – New Zealanders are wanting this coming Spring season to be either normal, or an early start to summer. The Poll asked what sort of weather you wanted this spring.

45% – the slim majority – responded “Please, I just want a normal spring”.

Close behind with 43% of the votes came “An early start to summer”.

That makes a majority who want average to warmer than average weather this spring, on 88%

This would indicate most New Zealanders are not only enjoying the warmer than average weather every month so far in 2016 – they are wanting more of it, or at least normal conditions for spring and not colder or wetter than average.

So does anyone want cold?  Yes – 12 % want spring to be “and extension of winter – cold, snow, wet etc”

The results possibly explain why about half of New Zealand’s population live across the milder northern most quarter of the nation!
