We thought the results would be skewed this week, but not this much – as our latest poll showed us what kiwis really think of this long, cold winter!

We’ve passed the halfway point in our winter, which means more daylight – while our nights are starting to shrink as we head towards the official start of spring.

We wanted to know if our readers were happy with the change, or if they secretly harbored a fondness for the cold, wet nights of winter.

Well, with nearly 90% of voters saying they can’t wait for the new season, we have our answer.
