Poll Results: New Zealanders say Winter 2016 was ‘pretty good’ overall

> From the WeatherWatch archives

New Zealanders are giving the 2016’s run of warmer than average weather a big “thumbs up” according to our latest poll, which shows a commanding majority think this winter hasn’t been too bad, in fact overall it’s been pretty good.

While the poll didn’t specifically ask what sort of weather you love, it did ask how much you were enjoying the weather over the past few months – and to sum it up in a few words.

With just one nationwide wintry snap around the start of August the country has had a pretty insignificant season with little in the weather of severe weather events or damaging weather.

Below are the results – and remember to check WeatherWatch.co.nz on SUNDAY for our next poll!
