POLL RESULTS: Kiwis resigned to up and down weather

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A topsy-turvy 2015 has caused many of our readers to take to social media and our own pages on WeatherWatch.co.nz to bemoan the rollercoaster ride of our weather this year.

As a largely agricultural and adventurous country, a lot of our work and play is done outdoors – and so weather plays a huge part in everyone’s lives, and that was reflected in the results of our latest poll.

Just under half, or 47% of those who responded, said that our weather patterns were simply a part of life – they neither loved nor hated it – while 37% replied that our variable weather was a good thing.

The results seem to indicate that we’re largely happy with our climate and weather, staying clear of the extremes in other countries and leaving most New Zealanders satisfied!
