This week’s poll was run in response to a number of comments we had been receiving from people around the country, telling us that though autumn was technically here, summer was well and truly clinging on.

In the week since the poll began, that situation may have changed in some parts of the country, with some parts of the eastern North Island receiving their fair share of rain over the last few days!

Autumnal weather patterns have already started to take hold of our weather, and that’s probably why 68% of voters in our poll said that autumn was well and truly in the air.

The remaining 32% who are still enjoying (or suffering through) summery weather may be on a different page, but such has been our up and down 2016 so far!
