POLL RESULTS: A mixed response to the end of Daylight Saving

> From the WeatherWatch archives

It’s fair to say that every year we get plenty of feedback about Daylight Saving – the good, bad and ugly of a system that’s probably not going anywhere anytime soon!

Some see it as a hassle, others find it disruptive and frustrating, while for some it’s just a part of life – or a part that they love…

We wanted to know how our readers felt about the end of Daylight Saving for yet another year, and we received a fairly mixed bag of responses – with nearly a third of voters saying they enjoy the extra hour’s sleep, 42% saying they wish it would stick around, and just under 20% opposed to it.

However you feel, it’s gone for another year – and while summer-y conditions are clinging on in some places, we’re seeing nights grow steadily longer and temperatures lowering around the country.
