> From the WeatherWatch archives

WeatherWatch.co.nz takes a look at Australia and how the big cities are looking for this coming weekend.

Sydney is looking at a wet start to the weekend with Saturday looking soggy but drying out on Sunday with just the risk of a shower.Temperatures are in the mid twenties during saturday but rissing a couple of degrees on Sunday.

Melbourne is expecting a hot weekend with the low 30s likely on both days. temperatures overnight appear to be remaining in the low twenties with starry night expected along with mostly sunny days.

Brisbane could see a shower or two pop up during the weekend and humidity levels quite high with the thermometer peaking at about 30 degrees on both days.

Adelaide is cooking on Saturday as hot, sunny conditions could see the mercury go as high as the upper thirties and Sunday might be a slight chance of a shower with stiil a very warm 33 degrees on the cards.

Perth is currently in a very hot spell with 40 degrees yesterday and today it’s also a possibility however by the weekend a refreshing cooler change should see mainly sunny skies with temperatures in the mid to high twenties.
