NZ VIDEO: Cold fronts, windy surges – but dry/sunny spells for many too

In true spring style the weather is all over the place, but continues to be westerly driven for the most part over the rest of this week, weekend and into next week.

There are a few surges of polar air over the coming week – this will keep temperatures down in the South Island and into the North Island at times too.

But the winds aren’t all cold – some subtropical wind is around today, and over the next several days we see milder airflows back in the mix too.

Monday next week kicks off with a cold and windy change though – before (hopefully) some high pressure briefly visits.
