VIDEO: Showers, high pressure, more windy westerlies coming

We may be in the third month of spring on the meteorological calendar but on the astronomical calendar (the earth’s physical journey around the sun) we’ve only just reached mid-spring. This may explain why many regions are still getting big temperature fluctuations and those windy westerlies. We’re only at the halfway mark of spring!

This week high pressure rolls on through – peaking on Wednesday then departing Thursday and Friday.

As the high departs windy, warm, nor’westers kick back in – with a cold front on Saturday bringing more western rain and showers and more spring-like windy westerlies nationwide.

Programming Notes:
We are unable to make videos this Wednesday and Thursday due to travel and other commercial commitments we have. We’ll see you again tomorrow Tuesday, then again on Friday this week.
