As we head into the second half of summer, most kiwis start to drift back to work, school or the old routine once again – after a busy festive holiday period.
For some, though, the summer is a time of intensive work – for farmer, growers or anyone in the tourism industry, this is one of the busiest times of the year.
With that in mind, we wanted to know how many kiwis have already taken their summer holiday, or whether theirs is yet to come – and with better weather in some places too!

A great summer few days in Palmy. A 1/2 day visit to Wellington, wasn’t windy ,just gloomy with very low cloud.
Return to Auckland saw the NE winds bring a few showers, the beans dance in the garden as the winds play with them.
