More of the same – Weather risks on Tuesday & the place to be

> From the WeatherWatch archives

It’s looking like a very similar pattern to yesterday, meaning settled weather over the country, with light winds and afternoon sea breezes for most.

The Waikato through to Northland, as well as inland Bay of Plenty could see isolated showers this afternoon and into the evening however, while some could be heavy – and there’s even a low risk of a thunderstorms.
This is more of a risk about the Waikato and inland BOP, where the land can give more substance and energy to any potential clouds.

The Place to be:

The Western North Island
It’s looking sunny, with just some light winds to start and afternoon sea breezes near the coast, and temperatures between 22-25C.
