Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, southwesterly winds about Auckland and the Waikato. Afternoon sea breezes about Northland and the Bay Of Plenty.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly cloudy with the chance of a drizzle patch or shower at times, the Central North Island is mainly dry with afternoon sunny spells. West to northwesterly winds.

Eastern North Island
Mostly sunny with light southerlies tending easterly this afternoon, some cloud at times especially about the Wairarapa.
Highs: 22-24
 
Wellington
Morning cloud with the chance of a shower, afternoon sunny spells. Light southerlies tend northerly after midday.

Marlborough & Nelson
Mostly sunny after any morning cloud breaks away, northeasterly winds about Marlborough. Nelson sees afternoon northerlies.
