Anticyclonic conditions bring mainly settled weather across the country today, expect plenty of morning cloud however then breaking to sunny areas this afternoon. Easterlies in the east and westerly quarter winds in the west.

Mostly sunny with some high cloud increasing from this morning, light winds this morning then afternoon sea breezes.

Auckland

Sunny areas and some cloud with southwesterly winds, areas of high cloud
develop later this afternoon.
Highs: 22-23

Bay Of Plenty

Mainly sunny with light winds this morning then afternoon north to
northwesterly winds.
High: 24

Waikato & Central North Island

Any morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, light winds tend westerly
this afternoon.
Highs: 23-24

Eastern North Island

Mostly sunny with light southerlies tending east to northeast this
afternoon, late cloud.
Highs: 22-23

Taranaki

Morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, west to southwest
winds.

Western North Island
