An anticyclone centred east of New Zealand covers much of the country today, winds will generally be light for all with morning cloud for many breaking to sunny spells and high cloud this afternoon.

Morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny with some high cloud, light winds in the morning, afternoon easterly breezes.
Highs: 22-24

Auckland

Any morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather with some high cloud, light winds and afternoon sea breezes.
Highs: 24-25

Bay Of Plenty, Waikato & Central North Island

Morning low cloud or fog clears then mostly sunny with light winds tending
westerly this afternoon. Mostly sunny about the Bay Of Plenty with light winds
tending northerly after midday.
Highs: 23-25

Eastern North Island

Mostly sunny after morning low cloud clears, light winds at first then
afternoon east to northeast winds.
Highs: 22-23

Western North Island

Morning cloud breaks to sunny spells and high cloud, light winds tend
westerly this afternoon.

Wellington

Morning cloud breaks to sunny spells and high cloud, northerly winds.
