A south to southeasterly airflow lies over the country tonight, many places are clear with light winds and frosty conditions expected tonight. The odd shower continues to affect the east coast of the North Island.

Northland
Some high cloud clearing overnight, southerly winds. About the western coastline some cloud and a few showers may move in overnight.

Skies becoming mainly clear this evening, light winds tend southerly or
southeast.

Bay Of Plenty

Clear skies with light winds.
Tonight’s Lows: 6-7

Waikato & Central North Island

Some cloud, any isolated showers clearing this evening. Light winds tend
southeast.
Tonight’s Lows: 4-5

Eastern North Island

Mostly cloudy with breezy southwesterlies, the odd shower.
Tonight’s Lows: 7-8

Taranaki

Mainly clear skies with breezy southeasterly winds, some cloud about
southern parts of the region.

Western North Island

Cloudy periods with southeasterly winds, the odd showers possible.

Occasional showers clear overnight, brisk southerly winds.

Sunny spells with southwesterly winds, chance of a late shower.

Clear spells with northwesterly winds, a change to southwesterlies around
midnight brings a few showers and brief snow flurries to 600m.
