Mainly settled conditions tonight, a weak front moves north over the South Island. Cloud develops in eastern areas of the South Island with showers easing overnight in the west.

Northland
Mainly clear skies with south to southeasterly winds easing this evening, light winds overnight. A few clouds about the eastern coastline clear this evening.

Auckland

Mainly clear skies with south to southwest breezes easing this evening, light northeasterlies along the east coast ease too.

Central North Island, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Mainly clear skies with light winds, northerlies ease this evening about
the Bay Of Plenty.
Tonight’s Lows: 7-13

Eastern North Island

Clear skies with east to northeast winds easing this evening, light winds
overnight.
Tonight’s Lows: 11-12

Western North Island

Mainly clear skies with some cloud developing overnight, westerly winds
tend northwest later. Southwest breezes continue to puff on through about
northern Taranaki.

Wellington

Clear skies with northerly winds, easing overnight.

Nelson

Clear skies with northerlies easing this evening, winds tend southwest
overnight.

tend southerly overnight.

Canterbury

Clear skies with northwesterlies pushing through to the coast this evening
bringing a warm end to the day about coastal areas. Later this evening and
overnight southerly winds push in bringing cloudy periods and the chance of some
drizzle by dawn tomorrow.

Cloudy with the odd shower or drizzle patch about Fiordland spreading north
this evening and overnight, west to northwest winds. Areas of precipitation

overnight with brisk west to southwest winds.
