Good Friday appears to be dry for many of the 6 main centres however one or two could see a few showers off and on.

Weatherwatch.co.nz believes temperatures overall are shaping up to be just a notch above average or basically bang on target for late April.

Auckland: Some cloudy areas but mostly dry, small chance of a shower. Max: 21

Hamilton: Cloudy periods, risk of a shower. Max: 20

Tauranga: Nor’ east winds could deliver a few showers and dry spells. Max: 20 or 21

Welington: Northerlies gaining strength but remaining mostly fine and dry. Max: 19

Christchurch: Milder today with any morning cloud burning off, otherwise mainly sunny. Max: 19 or 20

Dunedin: North to nor’ east breezes with cloud building, possibly a few showers later. Max: Around 18

and the showers have started down here on the Hauraki Plains. Was hoping it wouldnt start till tomorrow. Oh well working in the rain, Have a great Easter WW
