Last Saturday of the year, and the weather isn’t flash

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Periods of rain move into Auckland this evening and continue through most of the night, the odd heavy fall is even possible towards dawn tomorrow morning. Winds will be from the northeast. Expect a low overnight of 17 degrees.

Wellington has a cloudy night ahead too, winds from the east and the odd shower can be expected at times. A low overnight of 15 degrees.

Christchurch has areas of rain or drizzle with easterly breezes.
A low of 14 degrees.

Basically the upper three quarters of the country isn’t looking all that good tonight weather wise but one could turn it into a
positive, a night in watching DVD’s, heck even play some board games if one
could be guided away from an ipad or tablet.

Southland, especially in the east looks to have the best weather this evening. Central Otago is looking great
too and at the time of writing this article Wanaka has the countries highest temperature
with 25 degrees on the board at 2.30pm so bbq’s it shall be there this evening.
