InfoGraphic: The Big Picture for Monday / Tuesday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A southwesterly airflow lies over New Zealand today and on Tuesday, moving around a large high centred in the Tasman Sea.

Expect cloudy areas for the western North Island today, perhaps a shower or two also mainly about western Waikato through to Northland. Mainly sunny further east. A shower or two affects the far south of the South Island and perhaps North Westland during the day, mainly dry elsewhere.

Still the chance of a shower at times for the western North Island on Tuesday, it will more then likely be drier than it is wet. Mainly sunny conditions for eastern New Zealand, the West Coast of the South Island is fairly cloudy, a shower or two moves into Fiordland during the day.
