Dry for most of New Zealand today however a front brings some rain to the lower South Island and showers to the upper West Coast of the South Island.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
A risk of morning low cloud or fog (especially about inland areas) then mostly sunny, light winds then afternoon sea breezes.
Highs: 21-23

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Any morning cloud breaks then mostly sunny with light winds tending west to northwest in the afternoon.
Highs: 19-22

Eastern North Island
Mostly sunny with light winds then afternoon east to northeast breezes.
Highs: 21-24

Wellington
Mostly cloudy, breezy northwesterly winds.
High: 18

Marlborough & Nelson
Mostly sunny with some high cloud, north to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 24-25

Canterbury
Sunny areas and some high cloud, afternoon southerlies. Showers move into South Canterbury in the evening then Banks Peninsula northwards overnight.
Highs: 18-22

West Coast
Mostly cloudy, the odd shower. Rain moves into Fiordland in the morning, easing evening. North to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 16-21

Southland & Otago
Rain about Southland, moving into Otago during the afternoon as light winds change to the south. Rain eases back to the odd shower about Southland late afternoon.
Highs: 12-16
