Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Mainly sunny with light winds. From afternoon cloud drifts into eastern areas of Northland bringing a few showers, southeasterly winds.
Highs: 15-16

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

A sunny morning then a few afternoon clouds, west and north of Wanganui expect mainly sunny weather. Light winds.
Highs: 12-14

Eastern North Island

Areas of cloud and some sun, chance of a shower at times mainly about Gisborne. Southwesterly winds.
Highs: 13-14

Wellington

Sunny areas with light southerly winds.
High: 12

Marlborough & Nelson

Areas of cloud with brief sun at times, light winds tend east to northeast in the afternoon.
Highs: 12-13

Canterbury

Sunny areas with light winds, afternoon east to northeast winds near the coast.
High: 12

West Coast

Areas of cloud and some sun, light winds.

Highs: 12-13

Southland & Otago

Cloudy areas with light westerly quarter winds, areas of sun more likely inland.
Highs: 10-12
