A big low is going to impact our weather for the entire working week this week reports WeatherWatch.co.nz.
The low is predicted to develop in the Tasman Sea today and deepen into a large system as the week progresses.
It will mean heavy rain for regions in the west but warmer winds from the northerly quarter for most.
However the back end of the system is likely to dredge up colder southerlies tomorrow in Southland.
Most places will see above average temperatures this week as the low brings wind, showers/rain and cloud.
It’s likely to clear the country on Friday with a south westerly flow spreading in behind it for most places.

Hello
Does the low mean snow for the southern ski-fields? Just looking forward to a visit to one soon.
