High pressure dominates NZ for all of this week but that doesn’t mean clear skies for all with cloudy areas and fog patches, especially in the mornings.
Showers are mostly confined the Mahia/Gisborne area and the Far North – and totals will be low. As the week wears on a milder airflow moves in with sub-tropical connections, lifting overnight lows and removing frost risks.
By Sunday a windy, warm, nor’wester covers NZ ahead of a cold front coming in from the west.
