A new low is about to move into NZ but it’s fairly weak compared to the one we just had in the north (which has now entirely fallen apart) near East Cape.

Over the coming weekend we have a cooler change which will actually spark some afternoon downpours and maybe even thunderstorms.

Australia has an equally messy forecast with large dry areas but also some downpours developing – and we have some good news for parched eastern parts of Australia. We have your NZ and Australia forecast through to Monday next week.
