Cooler air along eastern Australia will work with a weak low to produce some eastern wet weather from about Sydney to Brisbane. Totals won’t be as high as everyone would like – nor is the rain widespread – but some wet weather is in the mix.
Norfolk Island is likely to get the leftovers of Lola producing some severe weather risks there for a time.
Meanwhile temperatures today and tonight are more than 8 degrees below normal for a large portion of Australia – but hotter weather returns for some in the week ahead as spring west to south-west winds continue off and on for TAS, VIC, and coastal SA.

Thanks for that comprehensive video on Australian weather projections. Found it by chance but will consult it regularly from now on.
