As of 2024 we will no longer be publishing questions related to weather forecasts if they are answered via our hyper-local hourly & 10 day forecasts, weather maps and regular daily and monthly weather & climate videos.

Good morning Weather Watch office
I like your informative site. Is very helpful planning day to day living.
I have event coming up on Monday, 20th for Hamilton North outside. The weather data is showing rain, showers, sometimes 0.2mm for morning, sometimes 1.2mm.
Are you able to give deeper accuracy for the morning showers or rain please.
Thank you kindly
Vlad

Hi Vlad, use our new app or visit RuralWeather.co.nz for planning outdoor days β the graphs there can give you extra detail. Low pressure is in the area on Monday but itβs changeable so keep an eye on those weather graphs in our app or at RuralWeather. They update hourly every day.
All the best for Monday!

Hi there,
I noticed the rain radar for Auckland may be stuck to May 14, 2024 at 10:43 am. I hope the rain for today (May 15) would not be as bad.
Thank you for the wonderful videos on youtube!

Hi guys just wondering when will Wellington next get snow ?

Your guess is as good as ours, Jet! For it to occur you need a huge high pressure zone near Tasmania shaped north to south, and you need a low pressure zone south east of Dunedin. Last time that happened properly was August 2011.
