In our first weather video of 2025 we take a look at the high pressure zone bringing a mostly dry week to NZ – but also the new developing lows over the Tasman Sea which may alter NZ’s weather going into this weekend.

Certainly a switch from windy southerlies and westerlies looks to be replaced by windy  easterlies as high pressure grows south of NZ and low pressure north of NZ – putting a easterly “squash zone” over the country late week or this weekend.
