There are a couple of large weather features set to take centre stage over the country as we head into the weekend – a low and a high.
The high sits out to our west in the Tasman Sea, while the low pressure system is tracking across the North Island through Thursday, before leaving our shores – and leaving behind some wet weather.
The weekend is looking like a mixed bag for the country, as the high pressure system moves in, creating typical spring conditions.
