A westerly airflow lies over New Zealand on Wednesday with an occluded front gradually pushing northwards over the South Island during the day. The short forecast is cloudier weather in the west, sunnier out east.
Chance of a shower at times for the western North Island on Wednesday, it will more then likely be drier than it is wet. Mostly sunny conditions for eastern New Zealand with warm temperatures.
The West Coast of the South Island is fairly cloudy, rain about South Westland eases from afternoon then a few showers manage to make their way into North Westland late afternoon / evening.
