The long weekend is upon us, and most places should have at least two mostly dry days and one wetter day.

Despite two very large highs around NZ, this weekend sees a cold front moving up the South Island on Saturday then the North Island Sunday.

Monday might be a bit cooler, as windier high pressure not truly reaching NZ until Tuesday or Wedsnesday.
