Weekend Newsfeed: High pressure returning, low pressure departing

High pressure is moving into the country and pushing away the North Island low.


El Niño has come to an end – find out what a ‘neutral’ Autumn and Winter looks like in NZ


Sunday: Today the low moves away to the east and brings some lingering showery or drizzly areas to the norther, southern and eastern parts of the North Island, with a cooler change for the north.

The lower South Island has a milder and windier westerly arriving as high pressure starts to move back in for next week.

If we haven’t talked about you in our weekend update we don’t anticipate much going on out of the ordinary!
