Weather Video: Unsettled weekend ahead

Spring is still very much in the air but there are some signs it’s starting to fade as higher pressure and drier weather sets in across northern New Zealand.

However, the South Island and middle parts of New Zealand are still exposed to strong winds on Saturday and heavy rain on the West Coast.

By Sunday higher pressure moves in – and while not sunny everywhere, it should be calmer and drier for many places.
