Anybody who actually believes any of the weather reporters in NZ actually know anything about meteorology are delusional

Any channel that doesn’t include Taumarunui in its weather forecasting is not up to it. TV3 therefore gets my vote. Plus who wants to watch Jim, aka the egomaniac Hickey, and his smarmy patter on No News NewZealand – aka TVONE

only have free to air tv and can’t access prime so not much to choose from however i prefer tv1.

I prefer Sky channel 98. Its quick, updated frequently, more accurate than the free to air weather reports and you can view it at anytime of the day. I particularly like the rain radar feature.

Yes, I too, much prefer to get my weather reports from WW. Much more accurate and much more interesting!

I do not watch any of them, prefer WW, Metvuw & NZ Met, get all the facts from these with minimal errors.

TV3 provides great weather – the presenters have personality but not over the top like channel one. The graphics are also alot clearer.
sky channel 98 is very good – the updates are more frequent and its convienient not having to watch the news to be able to view it.

I like TV 1 and please no Bob, he just wouldn’t do it justice at all!

Jim is okay but not as good as he was years ago. Toni looks good but lacks knowledge I reckon. Prime is just read by news people and sky weather channel is ok but no presenters and it hasn’t been changed since it began…boring!!

One usually is better but now even Jim is now saying “Westside Eastside” rubbish.That turned me off 3,
if youre doing the dishes or whatever listening to it,Westside of where?Whats wrong with “The westcoast”,Canterbury,We all know its in the south island,Southwestern north island,Gisborne/Hawkes bay etc.
The graphics are often stuffedup on all channels,forget what they are supposed to be explaining.
