Final Radar Animation — View the latest and final radar animation of the night, as Santa approaches New Zealand! This was taken at 11pm New Years Eve.
Using the very latest Radar Navigation System WeatherWatch.co.nz has been tracking Santa’s movements towards New Zealand across Christmas Eve. (But at 11pm it has to switch off – by law we have to do this before Santa arrives over New Zealand air space which will be sometime just after midnight!).

GOOD NEWS – Santa has asked me to let you all know we are almost at New Zealand .We can see the coast now.
Santa has checked his list and I’m happy to say that EVERYONE that emailed us here is on the Good Boys & Girls List
WELL DONE – Santa got all your messages ,well Mrs Claus helped , and we now have all the correct addresses

Dear Santa,
I was wonder and hoped that you would be able to give some gifts to the less fourtnate children in the world! As I now they are out there! For my present this year I would like to make sure there is peace in the world and every one can spend christmas with their familys!

yay Santa is getting closer. Safe travels Santa and Rudolph and all your reindeer. It’s been raining in Napier so I hope it stops soon for you. I want to stay up and wait for you but my eyes are getting sleepy. Don’t worry about our dog Rico Batman as he is real friendly. I’m so excited for you to come to our house.
