Hi – this is the Santa Tracker from 2008.
To all the parents – thanks for making this so successful. Merry Christmas to you and your family at this very special time of year. Weather Watch.
See below for the latest Pacific Ocean satellite maps – updated regularly.

Merry Christmas from everyone at the Weather Watch Centre!!
This image was taken directly above the North Pole! New Zealand isn’t visible (as the equater blocks us from view!) but if this was a clock we’d be pretty much at 9 O’clock. Skies look mainly clear over the northern hemisphere if travelling from the North Pole to New Zealand.
Below Santa will be coming down from roughly the 1 O’clock angle – where there’s a nice clear path for him. Just a rough patch between Fiji and New Zealand where there could be some turbulence…then it’s mainly smooth flying across New Zealand!

I have been a good boy this year for mum and dad and my little brother James. We have got a christmas tree and some lights on our house for you to see. James has been good too. I hope you remembered about the dinosaurs and the tortoise.
Have a good christmas.
Love Matthew and James
